Thrunscoe Primary and Nursery Academy is a very popular and successful academy which is looking to appoint a permanent cleaner to join its dedicated, motivated and supportive team.
We are seeking an additional cleaner who will carry out a range of duties to contribute to cleanliness and day to day hygiene within the premises.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of cleaning within an education setting. They will have an understanding of basic health and safety procedures.

Staff have high expectations for pupils’ behaviour and learning. Staff build warm and trusting relationships with pupils through clear routines and lots of praise. We are looking for someone who:
- Has due regard for health and safety
- Is able to prioritise and organise their own workload effectively
- Can be adaptable and a team player, and be able to maintain good working relationships with academy staff
- Is enthusiastic, taking on tasks as directed
- Is well motivated, able to use their initiative and able to apply common sense (and sometimes a sense of humour) when given tasks
- Is willing to undertake the training required to maintain the safe operation of the academy
